Nissan Patrol Mud Flaps
Custom mud flaps for the Patrol, printed by hand in Australia — Y62 wagons, GQ and GU tourers, tray-back utes, 100+ designs or your own art. Two very different Patrols, one page, both covered.
What size mud flaps for your Patrol?
Preset for the wagon — pick your year and go. Tray-back ute? Flick the tab and the size-up logic runs for you.

Y62, GU & GQ wagons
Flares and Warrior kit don't matter — wagons run the Flappie Frame, $100 a pair, printed frame-cut sets $110.
Frames for wagons →GQ/GU tray-backs
Full-size tray sizes up like a 79 — 4x4 300×350mm, $145 steel or 350×450mm, $225 alloy. On 35s you're already at the top of the range.
Size my tray →Wagons — Y62, GU, GQ — don't care about your flares. Neither do we
Shop for fixed Patrol flap kits and you hit the fine print fast: this one suits OEM plastic flares, that one needs the flare hole, another won't work with aftermarket guards. Fixed mouldings are hostage to whatever's bolted to your arches. Wagon Patrols run the Flappie Frame instead — 300mm wide, adjustable 205–255mm drop, hung off the body, so flares, Warrior kit and model year mostly stop mattering.
Frames are $100 a pair, printed frame-cut sets $110, and designs swap in minutes. Same answer for a petrol-V8 Y62 as for a GQ that's been touring since the '90s.
GQ/GU tray utes — full-size tray, so you size up like a 79
The coil-cab Patrol with a steel or alloy tray is a bush icon, and its tray sits in the same width class as a LandCruiser 79 — genuinely bigger than dual-cab tray guards. Our finder bakes that in and sizes you up a cut automatically. 4x2: 270×300mm on steel or factory-style guards, 300×280mm on alloy — $115 either way. 4x4: 300×350mm steel ($145) or 350×450mm alloy ($225) — and if you're on 35s, relax, you're already at the top of the range. There is no bigger cut to fret about.
One housekeeping note: the finder on this page is preset to the wagon. Tray-back? Jump to the full size finder and pick "Patrol cab-chassis" — it runs the size-up logic for you.
GQ and GU trays were custom-fitted decades ago and rebuilt since — widths are all over the shop, so the tape measure inside the guard is the only opinion that counts. Meanwhile the Patrol-specialist parts houses have flap pairs sitting on pre-order and backorder. Measure once, order a cut made this week instead. Not sure what you're looking at? Send us a photo.
Right, now the fun part
Wagons on frames, tray utes on the big cuts — thirty years of Patrols, all handled. The design's the only argument left for the campfire.
All the Flappies
100+ designs, available in the Patrol ute's big cuts or as a frame cut for the wagons. GQ, GU or Y62 — pick what suits the rig, not what's left in a parts bin.

Tradie Flappies
A GU tray with the business name on the biggest flaps we cut is a rolling billboard that shrugs off rocks. Logo, number, the lot.

Do Flappies fit a Y62 Patrol?+
Yes — it's a wagon, so it runs the Flappie Frame (300mm wide, 205–255mm adjustable drop, $100 a pair). Flares and Warrior kit don't matter because the frame hangs off the body, not the arch.
What size for a GU ute with a tray?+
Full-size trays run a size up — it's baked into our finder. 4x4: 300×350mm on steel guards ($145) or 350×450mm on alloy builds ($225). Measure inside the guard first — GQ/GU trays vary build to build.
My GQ is on 35s — do I need something bigger?+
No — you're already there. A 4x4 full-size tray lands on the biggest cuts we make (300×350mm steel / 350×450mm alloy), so the finder gives the same answer on 35s as on stock rubber.
Patrol shops have flaps on backorder — how fast are Flappies?+
Flappies are made to order in QLD and sized by your measurement, not by a discontinued Nissan part number — so there's no waiting on a container of mouldings for a 25-year-old ute.
