The Flappies story
Flappies started the same way a lot of good ideas do — out of frustration. Shane wanted custom mudflaps that didn't look cheap, peel after a few months, or feel like an afterthought. Everything on the market was generic. Nothing matched the ideas in his head.
So instead of settling, he built something better. With a background in graphic design and business (and a long history of starting things that may or may not have worked), he pitched the idea to Tyla — and, as always, she backed it 100%.
Fast forward, and Flappies has shipped 1,000+ custom sets worldwide — worn on rigs across Australia and beyond, from tradies and tourers to weekend warriors and anyone who wants their vehicle to actually reflect who they are. Along the way we added our newest (and smallest) team member, which only doubled our commitment to building something we're genuinely proud of.
