Flappies was born from a vision of turning something boring into something fun. When I was searching for custom, fun mud flaps, I quickly realised there was nothing available that matched what I had in mind. So, me being me—with a new idea every week—I pitched this one to Tyla. And as always, she had my back.

With a background in graphic design and business, and a long history of attempted ventures (from apps to clothing), I got to work on bringing this idea to life. Every decision was run past my #1 cheerleader, Tyla, and when the name Flappies was thrown out there, it was an instant hit. The cute penguin mascot? That was a no-brainer—just like cars, they can’t fly, but they’re cool as f*#k.

Months (and many late nights and weekends) later, here we are, launching in February 2025!
